Portable radio device with data compression and data transmission function - has transmission section for automatic transmission of transmission data on basis of target information within communication area
The portable radio device has a memory to store transmission data and target information outside a communication service area. The device also a data compression section for compressing the transmission data. A transmission section is provided for automatic transmission of the transmission data on the basis of the target information within the communication area. The device may also have a reception section for receiving a radio signal. An area determination section may be provided to determine whether the portable radio device is in the communication area or not. The area determination section may carried out a determination on the basis of a received, electric field intensity information from the receiver section. The data compression section preferably compresses the transmission data on the basis of a predetermined compression record directory.
