Provided is an apparatus for preventing damage of coke oven and reducing stress of coke oven chamber by constantly maintaining gas pressure in the coke oven chamber that influences on the coke oven door and preventing leakage of gas generated at the end of dry distillation of raw coal. An apparatus for preventing gas leakage of coke oven door comprises: a data processing part for processing the received data through a computer after receiving gas pressure values through a pressure transmitter and a data collector, the gas pressure values measured through a plurality of door gas pressure sensors(12) respectively installed at both sides of the coke oven chamber; a hydraulic pressure control part for receiving signals outputted through the data processing part, comparing the received signals with a prescribed set gas pressure, and operating a damper opening controller part(51) of an ascension pipe damper(5) by a hydraulic press; a gas pressure control part for controlling pressure of gas supplied to the damper opening controller part; and an ammonia water supply control part which controls a supply amount of ammonia water supplied to the damper opening controller part, and on a front part of which an ejection nozzle is installed, wherein the gas pressure control part comprises a pressure setter(41), a pressure controller(42) and a controller(44), and wherein the ammonia water supply control part comprises an ammonia water line; low pressure ammonia water, middle pressure ammonia water and high pressure ammonia water; a control valve(43); and an ammonia water control valve and an ejection nozzle.
