METHOD FOR PRODUCING SPECIFIC IMAGES AND COLORS BY SELECTIVELY REMOVING OXIDE FILM USING SPECIFIC PATTERNED MASK AND ACID AFTER FORMING THICK OXIDE FILM ON TITANIUM OR TITANIUM ALLOY
PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing images having 1 μm or less of horizontal resolution by forming a thick oxide film on titanium or titanium oxide, selectively removing all of the oxide film using a mask and hydrofluoric acid and forming a first thin oxide film again using an existing oxide film as a mask. CONSTITUTION: The coloring method of titanium alloy using multilayered titanium oxides comprises first step of forming an arbitrary thick oxide film on the front side of titanium by anodizing method to obtain green color; second step of adhering a specific patterned tape onto the oxide film, wherein the tape is preferably formed of Teflon as a mask; third step of dipping the whole object into hydrofluoric acid to etch a part of the object except a tape adhered part; fourth step of dipping the object into a solution that selectively reacts with adhesive of the tape, i.e, A type thinner and acetone to remove the tape functioning as a mask; fifth step of forming a second oxide film(t2) that is thinner than the already formed oxide film on all over the titanium object by anodizing using an already formed thin oxide film as a mask, wherein desired thickness is obtained when forming an oxide film at a lower voltage compared with a voltage used when forming the second oxide film, and an oxide film(t2) produces a green part; and sixth step of repeating the fifth step so that a thinner oxide film(t3) is formed to produce a yellow part, and 256 or more colors are obtained as high resolution images by repeating the above steps.
