METHOD FOR SUPPLYING A BROADCAST/MULTICAST SERVICE IN CONSIDERATION OF TIME OR AN AREA IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND A SYSTEM THEREFOR, SPECIFICALLY CONCERNED IN ENABLING THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TO DECIDE CONTENTS RELATED TO A SPECIFIC AREA
PURPOSE: A method and a system for supplying a broadcast/multicast service by considering time or an area in a mobile communication system are provided to enable a mobile communication system to decide contents related to a specific area where a subscriber is included or related to contents necessary at a specific time, thereby preventing unnecessary contents from being provided. CONSTITUTION: A contents provider decides whether the content of contents data is updated(S400). If so, a BCMCS contents server receives the contents data from the provider(S402). The BCMCS contents server generates a broadcast message including a time field where the contents data is to be broadcasted(S404), and compares the time field with a current time(S406). If the current time is included in the range of the time field, the generated broadcast message is broadcasted to a BCMCS terminal(S408).
