A kind of purpose: method, for determining that a page indicator of a mobile phone is provided within a standard value range according to a power ratio of a pilot channel, a threshold value is changeably set, optimize a standby time and a detection probability, to reduce an error rate, when reduce by a battery one uses the time. Construction: a kind of system receives radiofrequency signal one and is converted to a baseband signal, demodulated base band signal. One power ratio of the page indicator that system prediction one demodulates predicts a power ratio of a pilot channel from a pilot signal. System decides whether that page indicator is 1 or 0 or erasing. A threshold value is changeably arranged according to the power ratio of pilot channel in system.
