摘要

PURPOSE: A high pure and single phase barium titanate(BaTiO3) fine powder is provided, which is used as a dielectric material for an MLCC(multilayer ceramic capacitor) thin film. And a process is also provided to produce the barium titanate fine powder without secondary phases by a hydrothermal process. CONSTITUTION: The barium titanate powder has the Ba/Ti ratio of 0.99-1.01 and a K-factor of 4-7. And the process for producing the barium titanate powder comprises the steps of: weighing a titanium containing hydroxide and a barium hydroxide accurately, wherein the molar ratio of Ba:Ti is 1:1; dissolving the titanium containing hydroxide powder and the barium hydroxide in distilled water each and mixing the solutions to make a slurry; hydrothermally reacting the slurry at 100-250deg.C to prepare a first barium titanate powder; filtering the first barium titanate powder and washing and drying; calcining the first barium titanate powder at 900-1300deg.C.
