PURPOSE: A waste styrofoam reducing agent and a method for reducing a waste styrofoam using the same are provided to produce ingots useful as substitutes for wood materials from the waste styrofoam without generating an offensive odor. CONSTITUTION: The waste styrofoam reducing agent comprises 30-60 wt% of an orange oil, and 40-70 wt% of one or at least two type of a blocking agent selected from oleic acid, olive oil, camellia oil and animal fat. The waste styrofoam reducing agent may further comprise 5-15 wt% of pinene. The method for reducing a waste styrofoam comprises spraying the above reducing agent onto the waste styrofoam in an amount of 0.3-5 wt% and then applying pressure thereto at a temperature of 35-45deg.C to form an ingot.
