PURPOSE: An astronomical watch is provided to easily check the position of a celestial sphere on the sky without a specific astronomical knowledge. CONSTITUTION: A watch(1) contains a time shaft, a deciding device, selecting devices(28,30), analogue time display devices(10,12) and a deciding and display device. The time shaft generates a standard frequency signal. The deciding device decides a present time and a date from the reference signal. The selecting device selects a celestial sphere. The analogue time display devices use two needles(10,12). The deciding and display device decides the position of the selected celestial sphere and displays the position through the display devices. The watch contains a rotary dial(14). A sky map is drawn on the rotary dial. The shapes of the needles are formed to display any position of the sky map on the dial through an intersection point of the watch needles.
