PURPOSE: A one-handed Korean alphabet keypad is provided to input a keypad array while making supporting characters and vowels by using 5 consonants and 3 vowels only, thereby continuously inputting characters without standing by or operating another key even though a final consonant of a previous character and an initial letter of a next character are overlapped in a sentence. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(10) is arranged with 5 consonants and 3 vowels which are used the most. The second column of 3 columns on the keypad(10) is more advanced than the first and third columns. The most frequently used consonant is arrayed on the second column in the second row, while the rest 4 consonants are arrayed on the first and third columns in the first and third rows. The 3 vowels are arrayed on columns and rows not to be overlapped with the 4 consonants. The most frequency used vowel is overlappingly arrayed with the one consonant.
