CALLER INFORMATION DISPLAYING METHOD OF A TELEPHONE, PARTICULARLY FOR DISPLAYING A CALLER'S PHONE NUMBER AND LOCATION INFORMATION OF A TELEPHONE OFFICE HANDLING THE CALLER'S CALL WHEN THE CALL FROM THE CALLER WHO HAS NOT BEEN REGISTERED IN A PHONE BOOK OF THE CALLEE IS RECEIVED TO A CALLEE'S TERMINAL
PURPOSE: A caller information display method of a phone is provided to allow a callee to recognize from which area a caller is calling by displaying location information of a telephone office processing the caller's call together with a phone number of the caller. CONSTITUTION: When a callee receives a call, it is checked whether a phone number of the caller exists in a database list of a phone book of a terminal of the callee(S1,S2). If the phone number of the caller does not exist in the database list, it is checked whether the phone number exists in a database list of a pertinent telephone office processing the call(S6). If the phone number of the caller exists in the database list of the pertinent telephone office, the call is set up(S7) and the phone number of the caller and location information of the corresponding telephone office are displayed for callee's recognition(S8). Call communication is performed between the callee and the caller(S9).
