PURPOSE: A guard rail support for a road is provided to easily change the height of a guard rail and to prevent the generation of wastes when the surface of a road is improved or repaired. CONSTITUTION: A guard rail support(10) includes a movable bolt support plate formed in the shape of a hollow core round pole and of which one part is closed. An upper movement hole and a lower movement hole penetrated with a bolt(30) for fixing a guard rail(20) are formed on the outer face of the guard rail support. A guard rail moving body, a height adjusting bolt for moving the guard rail upward and downward, and a cover(60) for covering the upper face of the guard rail support are included in the guard rail support.
