AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEM OF RAILWAY TURNOUT, CAPABLE OF MONITORING OPERATION OF RAILWAY TURNOUT FROM REMOTE PLACE THROUGH COMMUNICATION NETWORK, SETTING OR CHANGING INFORMATION FOR OPERATION OF RAILWAY TURNOUT, AND CONTROLLING OPERATION OF HEATER, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
PURPOSE: An automatic control system and a control method thereof are provided to monitor operation of a railway turnout from a remote place, set or change information for operation of railway turnout, and control operation of heater, by providing operation of a power distribution box and heater in a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control system comprises a power distribution box and control board(300), a monitoring and data input unit(100), and a central control unit(200). The power distribution box and control board controls a heater(332) arranged in a railway turnout by detecting an atmospheric temperature and a rail temperature. The monitoring and data input unit monitors operation of the power distribution box and control board, and inputs data for controlling operation. The central control unit is connected between the power distribution box and control board and the monitoring and data input unit through a communication network. The central control unit monitors the signal received at the power distribution box and control board, and controls operation of the power distribution box and control board through the communication network by the signal received at the monitoring and data input unit.
