HYPERTENSION AND HEART HYPERTROPHY-INDUCING COMPOSITION COMPRISING MAMMAL TCTP GENE OR PROTEIN PRODUCED THEREFROM TO SCREEN ANTI-HYPERTENSION DRUG, AND METHOD FOR SCREENING ANTI-HYPERTENSION DRUG USING THE SAME
HYPERTENSION AND HEART HYPERTROPHY-INDUCING COMPOSITION COMPRISING MAMMAL TCTP GENE OR PROTEIN PRODUCED THEREFROM TO SCREEN ANTI-HYPERTENSION DRUG, AND METHOD FOR SCREENING ANTI-HYPERTENSION DRUG USING THE SAME
PURPOSE: A composition for screening an anti-hypertension drug which comprises a mammal TCTP gene or a protein produced therefrom, and a method for screening the anti-hypertension drug using the same are provided. The composition induces hypertension and heart hypertrophy and thus facilitates the screening of the anti-hypertension. CONSTITUTION: The composition for screening an anti-hypertension drug comprises a mammal TCTP gene or a protein encoded therein, wherein the mammal TCTP gene has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 or the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 wherein one or more of mutations selected from disruption, deletion, insertion, point, substitution, nonsense, missense, polymorphism and rearrangement mutation are occurred; and the protein encoded by the mammal TCTP gene has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 or is expressed from the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 wherein one or more of mutations selected from disruption, deletion, insertion, point, substitution, nonsense, missense, polymorphism and rearrangement mutation are occurred. The method for screening the anti-hypertension drug comprises contacting the composition with a testing material, and determining whether the expression of the mammal TCTP gene is inhibited.
