STRUCTURE OF EXPANDING A DETACH/ATTACH ROTATIVE DISPLAY OF A PORTABLE TERMINAL AND A METHOD THEREOF, ESPECIALLY RELATED TO DISPLAYING HIGH-CAPACITY DATA BY DATA-GRADE COMMUNICATION, AND LARGELY EXPANDING AN IMAGE BY MULTIMEDIA-GRADE COMMUNICATION
PURPOSE: A structure of expanding a detach/attach rotative display of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to variably expand an existing display in vertical or horizontal direction by using an external display which is detachable and rotative on the display, and to automatically recognize the expanded state to display a corresponding signal. CONSTITUTION: A body portion(110) operates mobile communication while monitoring/controlling an entire portable terminal(100). A display portion(120) displays operational information, character-grade information, and image information in connection with the body portion(110), and comprises a speaker. A hinge portion(130) couples the body portion(110) with the display portion(120) in folder rotative state, and transmits a corresponding signal. An expansion display portion(140) displays operational information, character-grade information, and image information in connection with the display portion(120). A connector(150) rotatively couples the display portion(120) with the expansion display portion(140) in detachable state, and transmits a corresponding signal.
