KOREAN ALPHABET KEYBOARD INPUT DEVICE AND A METHOD, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH EASILY INPUTTING KOREAN ALPHABET BY PRESSING BUTTONS IN ORDER OF MAKING STROKES AS IF THE KOREAN ALPHABET IS WRITTEN WITH A PEN
PURPOSE: A Korean alphabet keyboard input device and a method are provided to comprise 4 consonant buttons and 2 vowel buttons with 1 common button, and to select the corresponding buttons in the order of making strokes in writing a Korean character, so that a user can input desired Korean characters without remembering positions of the buttons. CONSTITUTION: A button input unit(15) comprises buttons by distinguishing fundamental strokes of Korean alphabet into consonants and vowels, and sequentially inputs the buttons in order of writing random Korean characters. A memory(20) defines an inputting order in accordance with the consonants and vowels of the Korean alphabet, and stores the defined order. A controller(25) analyzes sequentially inputted button signals, and forms inputted characters based on values stored in the memory(20). A display(30) displays the formed characters.
