PURPOSE: A method for implementing a B-link use rate and statistics function in a CDMA 1X system is provided to accurately obtain data as to how frequently a B-link is used and thus accurately measure a use rate of the B-link. CONSTITUTION: An ATLA(210) of a BSC(Base Station Controller)(200) counts the number of ATM cells transmitted/received through a B-link. A BSM(Base Station Manager)(300) requests the BSC(200) to measure a use rate of the B-link periodically. The BSC(200) transmits the number of ATM cells stored in the ATLA(210) to the BSM(300) upon receiving a corresponding request. The BSM(300) calculates a use rate of the B-link by using the number of ATM cells received from the BSC(200) and outputs the calculated result.
