PURPOSE: A failure verification simulation method of a mobile communication system is provided to reduce cost and time required for failure testing by testing a failure. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether a simulation mode is set by an operator in an initial state(S1,S2). When the simulation mode is set, a simulation mode setting signal is transmitted to each equipment of a mobile communication system and each equipment sets a failure verification simulation mode according to the mode setting signal(S3). A BSM(Base Station Manager) transmits a setting signal for designating a specific mobile communication system for testing a failure and alarm(S4). It is determined whether it is a test mode for an initial testing of a current mobile communication system or a test mode in the middle of an operation(S5). In case of the test mode for an initial testing of the current mobile communication system, a specific system set by a simulator analyzes failure/alarm particulars, executes a related operation, extracts/combines a corresponding result, and transmits it to the simulator(S6). The simulator analyzes the result which has been received from the currently tested mobile communication system, outputs a corresponding system message, and generates an alarm to an operator(S7). An operation of the failure simulator installed in the BSM is released to terminate the failure testing and verification, and the BSM informs BSC(Base Station Controller) and BTSs(Base station Transceiver Subsystem) accordingly through IPC(Inter Process Communication)(S10).
