PURPOSE: Provided is a UV blocking cosmetic composition containing ginsenoside Rh2 and ginsenoside Rg3 in a ratio of 1:1-1:5. Therefore, the composition displays excellent UV blocking effect on the skin without any side adverse effect, and is applied to emulsion, massage cream or facial mask pack. CONSTITUTION: The UV blocking cosmetic composition is characterized by containing ginsenoside Rh2 of the formula(1) and ginsenoside Rg3 of the formula(2) to display excellent UV blocking effect on the skin without any side adverse effect, wherein ginsenosides Rh2 and Rg3 are contained in the composition in the amount of 0.0001-10% as solids.
