CELLULAR PHONE ADDED WITH A TV FUNCTION AND A CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF, CONCERNED WITH MINIATURIZING THE CELLULAR PHONE AND WATCHING TV WHILE MOVING BY USING THE EXTERNAL TV TUNER MODULE
PURPOSE: A cellular phone added with a TV function is provided to be interfaced with an external TV tuner module by using a connector of an expanded memory and a memory card mounted on the connector. CONSTITUTION: An external TV tuner module(40) receives a TV signal through a TV antenna(10), and separates the received TV signal into a video signal and a voice signal. A cellular phone(100) is interfaced with the external TV tuner module(40) through a connector(100a) located on one side thereof, receives the TV video signal and the voice signal from the external TV tuner module(40), and decodes/deinterlaces the received signals into digital video signals, then outputs a TV video and a voice.
