MOLECULAR PRESS DEHYDRATING AGENT COMPRISING STARCH HYDROLYSATE OR DERIVATIVES THEREOF FOR DEHYDRATION OF PLANT TISSUE TO PROVIDE IMPROVED DEHYDRATION EFFICIENCY AND GOOD COMMERCIALIZATION CAPABILITY
PURPOSE: A molecular press dehydrating agent comprising starch hydrolysates or derivatives thereof is provided to improve dehydration and cost efficiency without causing legal or social concerns as in the conventional dehydrating agent PEG4000, which has restricted use as edible material. Therefore the dehydrating agent may be suitably used in various fields including food and beverage, animal feed, cosmetics, medicines or agricultural chemicals. CONSTITUTION: The molecular press dehydrating agent for the dehydration of plant tissue comprises starch hydrolysates or derivatives thereof, wherein the starch hydrolysates are at least one selected from dextrin, polydextrose and the like, wherein the derivatives of the starch hydrolysates are at least one selected from amylopectin derivatives having a size of 3.5nm or more, amylose derivatives fraction, etherified starch and esterified starch.
