PURPOSE: An identification body for a battery, and a battery and a battery pack containing the identification body are provided, to prevent the forgery or a battery or a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: The identification body for a battery is installed in a battery or a battery pack, is colorless to a visible ray, and contains a light emitting material which emits a visible ray when irradiated to non-visible rays. Preferably the non-visible ray is a UV ray, and the light emitting material is an inorganic fluorescent substance. The battery comprises a battery device containing a cathode and an anode; an exterior material accommodating the battery device; and the identification body installed on the outer surface of the exterior material. The battery pack comprises a battery containing a cathode and an anode and being a generation unit; a battery case accommodating the battery; and the identification body installed on the outer surface of the battery case.
