PROGRAM FOR CORRECTING IMAGE DISTORTION, DEVICE FOR CORRECTING IMAGE DISTORTION, METHOD FOR CORRECTING IMAGE DISTORTION, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM FOR CORRECTING IMAGE DISTORTION
From the image of a paper plane picked up by means of an imaging apparatus, a projection set of geodetic lines which are parallel with each other on the curved paper plane is extracted using the content on the paper plane as a clue, and then a projection set of ruled lines forming a ruled surface corresponding to the curved paper plane is extracted from the projection set of geodetic lines. Subsequently, the curved paper plane is estimated from the projection set of geodetic lines and ruled lines and distortion of the image is corrected based on the curved paper plane. A variety of distortions can thereby be dealt with and a distortion can be corrected even if only a part of the paper plane appears on the image.
