Systems, methods and computer program products are provided for testingwhether Webcontent has been properly tailored by a transcoding proxy for display withinvarious requestingpervasive computing devices. Simulated HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP)requests are builtusing information from one or more data files. Each simulated request includesa Uniform ResourceLocator (URL) that identifies a location of Web content. Each simulatedrequest also includes anHTTP header containing information about a respective pervasive computingdevice. SimulatedHTTP requests are asynchronously issued to respective Web servers identifiedin the respectiveHTTP requests. An HTTP response to each respective simulated HTTP request isreceived andincludes Web content tailored for display within a respective pervasivecomputing device associatedwith the respective simulated HTTP request. Each HTTP response is thencompared with anexpected HTTP response. An HTTP response that does not compare favorably withan expectedHTTP response can be saved for later analysis.
