Multifunctional machine for cultivating between-feet for plantations of trees or shrubs such as vineyards or orchards, comprising a working head (1) including a rotor (7) driven by a motor (5-6) and and arranged to receive the least two interchangeable tools (10A or 10B), said working head further comprising a guide gear (14) adapted to rotate about its axis of rotation and having, viewed in the direction of this axis, the general form of a notched disc having alternately at its periphery notches (16) and projecting portions (17), such that said guide can thus, during work, engage successively with the feet of the trees or shrubs, during a meeting with them, characterized in that said engaging guide (14) is disposed above the tools (10A or 10B) and that in its central part the general shape of a bell (14a), the length range (R1) of said I rotating ols (10A or 10B) exceeding the radius (R2) of a circle tangent to the bottom of said notches (16) of the engaging guide (14).
