The method for arresting bleeding from the bed of the gall bladder in the course of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the patients with the acute cholecystitis comprises the intraperitoneal insertion of the bipolar electrode via the port, positioning the electrode tip on the surface of liver parenchyma, and coagulating the blood vessel until the arrest of the bleeding. The bipolar electrode with the needle tip upon positioning on the surface of parenchyma is inserted into parenchyma, and the coagulation is performed.
