2. The system for assessing tightness of the combustion chamber in an automobile engine is equipped with an alternating current engine, coupled through a belt transmission with a planetary gear. The anti-torque converter is connected through an amplifier and an analogue-to-digital converter to a microcomputer. It is characterised in that the planetary gear (3) is coupled in a non-sliding manner with the vehicle driving wheel (K) through the synchronous articulated joint (6) and a self-centring triple-jaw grip chuck with elongated jaws, functioning as a coupling driver (2).
