The present invention is a method for capillary electrophoretic analysis of a biological sample comprising the use of negatively charged modified antibodies such that they migrate to an area outside the migration zone of the proteins in the biological sample when they are separated during electrophoresis, said antibodies having antigen specificity for a given target protein.
