The present invention relates to a process for producing a combined syngas feed, with a variable H ~ 2 ~ / CO ratio, for use in a syngas conversion reactor. In this process an H ~ 2 ~ / CO ratio of approximately 1.0 to 3.0 for the combined syngas feed is selected. A first syngas is formed with an H ~ 2 ~ / CO ratio of at least 2.0 by the reaction of methane with an oxygen source. A second syngas is formed with an H ~ 2 ~ / CO ratio no greater than 1.5 by the reaction of LPG with CO ~ 2 ~. The first syngas and the second syngas are combined to form a syngas feed combined with the selected H ~ 2 ~ / CO ratios, and that combined syngas feed can be used in the syngas conversion reactor.
