"METHODS TO TREAT ERECTIBLE DYfunction, TO IMPROVE GLANS PENIS MICROCIRCULATION AND TO PRODUCE GLANS PENIS INTUMESCENCE IN A PATIENT NEEDING SUCH TREATMENTS, MANUFACTURING ARTICLE, AND, COMPOSITION". Methods are provided for the treatment of erectile dysfunction comprising placing within the fossa navicularis an amount of a vasoactive semi-solid prostaglandin composition sufficient to increase blood flow to the glans penis and resulting in increased penile swelling. In preferred embodiments, the method further comprises providing erotic stimuli. In another embodiment, the invention provides a method for increasing swelling of the glans penis. In another aspect, the invention provides compositions and articles of manufacture for practicing the methods of the invention.
