"The process of immobilization of titanium dioxide on glass parts by using the new method adapted the technique of modeling by emulsion.The present invention relates to a new process for the immobilization of titanium dioxide on glass parts by using the new method adapted the technique of modeling by emulsion.For the purposes of heterogeneous photocatalysis.This process consists of the preparation of oil in water emulsions and subsequent association with precursors of metal oxides in order to obtain a system that could be applied on superfu00edCies for immobilization of oxide of interest.In this invention, rings of Pyrex glass with 15 - 20 mm high,7 mm in external diameter and 5 mm internal diameter were immersed in the mixture prepared from an emulsion of water and isoctano diethylborane titanium (IV) chelated with acetylacetone.Then, the rings were dried at approximately 125 198 C and calcined at 600 198 C for 6 hours.At the end of the process have been obtained glass parts coated with titanium dioxide anatase structure. The process of immobilization has highly efficient deposition and adhesion.
