PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electromagnetic shield structure of an air-core coil capable of obtaining a highly efficient air-core coil. ;SOLUTION: An air-core coil formed with a coil pattern 1 laminated by an insulation 2 is covered by a metal case 3 and electromagnetically shielded. A minimum distance t1 between the coil pattern 1 and an upper magnetic shield face 4 opposing to the coil pattern 1 is arranged and set more than 0.2 times and less than 1.0 times of the outside diameter td of the coil pattern 1, and a distance t2 between the center of the coil pattern laminate and the upper electromagnetic shield face 4 is arranged and set more than 0.25 times and less than 0.75 times of the distance tc between the upper electromagnetic shield face 4 and the lower magnetic shield face 5. The metal case 3 is apart a place of higher magnetic flux density of the air-core coil and capable of preventing a generation of eddy-current, thereby the air-core coil operates maximum efficiency and the metal case 3 can be made small.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
