PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe relay system etc., which is adaptive to increase in output such as the number of relays.;SOLUTION: In a safe relay system, a master unit 5B and one or more output expansion units 16 are connected to each other in series through a connection part. The master unit 5B obtains input states from respective safe components and a control signal generation part generates a control signal for operating a switching control part which controls switching of a safe relay according to the obtained input states.
