PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier that requires only a small installation space and can appropriately dry a group of rice grains even if the group of rice grains are in a mass.;SOLUTION: The drier for a group of rice grains having a ventilation type drying means for ventilating air for drying to a group of rice grains to be dried, is constituted so that a plurality of placement/conveyance sections for placing and conveying a group of rice grains supplied upward by a porous body T that is rotated and driven around upper and lower axial centers are arranged and provided in upper/lower directions in a form, where the lower side receives a group of rice grains that falls and is discharged from the upper side.
