PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction and a cheap method of production of an electrode needle of a puncturing radio knife for laparoscopy to cut and coagulate the affected part tissue by electric energy, with which the abdominal wall can be punctured (without a trocar) to perform cutting and coagulation.;SOLUTION: The electrode needle of the puncturing radio knife is produced to have a metal rod of stainless steel or the like as a material which is slimmed by electrolysis or the like to have a fine diameter besides an electrode part which is connected to a source electrode, and the fine-diameter long needle part is inserted in a tube of a heat-shrinkable insulation resin to make the same to be adhered by thermal contraction so that the part other than a pointed head and an electrode connecting section becomes to be insulated. The electrode needle is comprised of the cylindrical connection section with an outer diameter of 4-8 mm and a length of 10-40 mm which is inserted in a source electrode aperture and the long needle section with an outer diameter of 1-3 mm and a length of 100-400 mm which is connected to the cylindrical connection section as one body with a coaxial core.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
