PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in cost for installation and the like of a server device for offering services, while maintaining the security of the server device.;SOLUTION: Publication information including service information offered by a service offering server device 2 and an address of a service offering support server device 4 is registered in a directory server device 5, whereby services are published. A client device 6 transmits a service offering request to the service offering support server device 4 installed outside a firewall 8 based on the publication information. The service offering support server device 4 transfers the request to the service offering server device 2 positioned inside the firewall 8, and upon receipt of the execution result of the services executed in the service offering server device 2 in accordance with the request, transfers the execution result to the client device 6 which is a request source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
