PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable styrene polymer particle containing a syndiotactic styrene polymer and excellent in foamability, a foamed styrene polymer particle containing a syndiotactic styrene polymer and excellent in fusion bonding properties and foamability in in-mold molding, and a foamed styrene polymer particle molded article containing a syndiotactic styrene polymer and excellent in heat resistance and mechanical properties.;SOLUTION: The foamable styrene polymer particle is prepared by incorporating a physical blowing agent containing at least 25 wt.% 5-6C aliphatic hydrocarbon into a styrene polymer particle composed of a mixture consisting of a syndiotactic styrene polymer and an atactic styrene polymer, the content of the blowing agent being 0.05-1 mol based on 100 g of the polymer particle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
