PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a circuit designer to easily calculate a wave form and proper driving of an electrical signal circuit comprising a resistor R and a capacitor C by using driving circuit with a timing parameter, an amplitude parameter and an output resistance Ro.;SOLUTION: The method for calculating a wave form of electrical signal lines comprises a means to divide an end terminal voltage, which is driven by a driving circuit with a voltage Vo, into timing boundaries of t1 through tx, a means to generate amplitudes of A(1)m through A(x)m at each divided point x, and a means to generate a plurality of electrical signal timing parameters at each divided point for A(1)m through A(x)m and T(1)m through T(x)m. The wave form of electrical signal lines or an approximate driving factor can be derived from an r, as well as amplitude parameters and timing parameters, which are derived by approximately matching the divided point x with Vo*{1-A(x)m*exp(-T(x)m*t/r)} in a time frame of txttx-1 by also approximately matching the divided point 1 with the Vo*{1-A(1)m*exp(-T(1)m*t/r)} in the time frame of the divided t1t, assuming that Ro and the r are {R+T(1)m*Ro}*C or {R+Ro}*C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
