PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and cooling system using a hydrate slurry in which a hydrate having latent heat and a higher heat density than that of water is contaminated as a heating medium and remarkably reducing the flow resistance that is a disadvantage of the hydrate slurry, thereby reducing the flow rate required for air conditioning, reducing transportation power and simplifying/miniaturizing air-conditioning equipment.;SOLUTION: The heating and cooling system 1 is obtained by dividing a cooling cycle and a heating cycle into separate lines. A clathrate type hydrate slurry prepared by adding a cationic resistance-reducing agent which is a surfactant and a counterion of the cationic resistance-reducing agent is used as a cold medium of the cooling cycle. An inorganic hydrate slurry obtained by adding the cationic resistance-reducing agent which is the surfactant and the counterion of the cationic resistance-reducing agent is used as the heating medium of the heating cycle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
