PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally evaluate an installation position of a water quality monitor when the water quality monitor is installed in a river.;SOLUTION: A flow rate evaluating section 11 obtains a flow rate of a contaminant from a state of the river. In a storage capacity evaluating section 12, regular residence time of regular storing capacity in a water purification plant and filling time of space capacity are obtained. In a risk evaluating section 13, a water intake stopping examining range and a filling answering range are obtained based on the flow rate from the flow rate evaluating section 11 and the regular residence time and the filling time from the storage capacity evaluating section 12. Further in the risk evaluating section 13, water intake damaged amount is calculated based on the water intake stopping examining range and the filling answering range and an optimum installation position of the water quality monitor is calculated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
