PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical activity measuring instrument by which using of an automobile for commuting or going shopping is reduced. PSOLUTION: This physical activity measuring instrument is provided with a means for calculating a volume of carbon dioxide emission reduced by walking, riding a bicycle or taking a public transportation facility instead of using the automobile. In addition, the instrument is provided with a means for calculating a forest area which is capable of absorbing carbon dioxide equivalent to the volume of carbon dioxide emission in a prescribed period.
