PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing inexpensive variator components of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission by improving the yield of materials while enhancing a strength and shortening a cutting time thereby suppressing the increase in a producing cost.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing the variator components 40 in the toroidal type continuously variable transmission integrally forming a displacing shaft 43 and an outer ring 44 of a thrust rolling bearing, a lower die 73 having a first hole part 71 for forming a supporting shaft part 41 and an annular projecting part 72 for forming an annular course groove 44a of the outer ring 44 coinciding with both components, and an upper die 75 provided with the center line making eccentricity of a prescribed amount from the center line of the first hole part 71 and having a second hole part 78 for forming a center supporting shaft 42, are are prepared. A solid blank is laid on the lower die 73 so that this center line coincides with the center line of the annular projecting part 72, and the upper die 75 is pressed toward the lower die 73, and the supporting shaft part 41, the outer ring 44 having the annular course groove 44a and the center supporting shaft 42, are simultaneously formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
