PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more convenient apnea detection in a sleep apnea syndrome and to provide a preventive method and a curing method using a sleep apnea syndrome detector. PSOLUTION: The sleep apnea syndrome is prevented by automatically inducing a contraction motion of the muscles of the base of the tongue in the neck of a patient with the sleep apnea syndrome working with a sensor-actuated vibration 1 that detects apnea lasting for certain seconds or longer, by detecting 8 apnea with less than 90% of transdermal O2 (SpO2) lasting for certain seconds or longer by measuring SpO2 working with a sensor 2, and/or by detecting apnea lasting for certain seconds or longer by attaching a light feather or a feather-like detector near nostrils. The curing method for the sleep apnea syndrome in the waking state is to be treated by strengthening the muscles through muscle strength stimulation training with a low frequency vibration 1 at the base of the tongue in the neck working with the sensor-actuated vibration 1.
