PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for judging truth which can solve the problems that when a judging part is formed by using an emboss hologram, it is difficult to shorten a manufacturing time, and as the number of processes in manufacturing an emboss mold is large, it is difficult to change a pattern of the judging part. PSOLUTION: Both layers of a pattern layer 4 in which the rotating direction of an incident light is turned reversely and an optical selective reflective layer 5 reflecting either one of a left circularly polarized light or a right circularly polarized light among the incident lights are laminated in irregular order on a base material 2 if necessary through an orientation film 3 to constitute the medium for judging the truth, and the problem can be solved thereby.
