PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing a composite material for a pressing mold excellent in the surface roughness and abrasion resistance of a press-molding surface and having high processability, the composite material for the pressing mold manufactured thereby and the pressing mold.;SOLUTION: The composite material for the pressing mold is used for manufacturing the pressing mold composed of a molding surface part having a molding surface for performing press molding and the base material part integrally joined to the molding surface part. The manufacturing method of this composite material for the pressing mold has a process for successively charging a powder material 6 for the base material part and a powder material 7 for the molding surface part to simultaneously sinter them. The powder material 6 for the base material part are composed of a carbide alloy having the same composition and the average particle size of the powder material 7 for the molding surface part is 1 μm or blow while the average particle size of the powder material 7 for the base material is not smaller than that of the powder material 7 for the molding surface part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
