PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water path and a member for removing nitrogen/phosphorus contained in waste water which permits concurrent cleaning (removal) of nitrogen/phosphorus in the water path and a closed water region, allows phosphorus adsorption ability of a phosphorus adsorbent to continue, facilitates the recovery of the phosphorus adsorbent and prevents the clogging of the water path. PSOLUTION: The water path is formed by fixing the phosphorus adsorbent capable of producing apatite hydroxide through the contact with phosphorus in waste water to a water path body via a nitrogen cleaning agent liquefied by heating. The phosphorus adsorbent is granular material which comprises coal ash, volcanic ash or molten steel slag each containing calcium in plenty, waste molten slag or artificial zeolite originating from coal ash and produces the insoluble apatite hydroxide. The nitrogen cleaning agent is an organic carbonaceous water cleaning agent which has a melting point higher than the water temperature of waste water to be treated, is decomposed by microorganisms to produce hydrogen and an organic acid or an biologically utilizable organic substance and promote denitrification.
