PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein translation controlling factor, to provide a new initiation factor, and to provide a new protein translation controlling method.;SOLUTION: The above method comprises synthesizing a single-stranded DNA oligomer complementary to a preservative region of a ribosome base sequence, taking the oligomer into a cell, and culturing the cell.
