PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic analysis method and a characteristic analysis program to perform characteristic analysis of a structure accurately in a short period of time by computer simulation without requiring a die design.;SOLUTION: A characteristic finite element method characteristic analysis model 10 is produced from shape data of the structure, and individual press component data 11 are extracted from the finite element method characteristic analysis model 10. A press analysis source file 12 wherein a flange or a moving resistance 4 is added to the component peripheral part is created, and press analysis is performed by an inverse analysis method. A press analysis result is mapped on the finite element method characteristic analysis model 10 to add correction of a material characteristic by a press influence, and the characteristic analysis by a solver program is performed based on the corrected finite element method characteristic analysis model 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
