PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting coordinate positions of voltage measuring points that increases the reliability of linearity evaluation.;SOLUTION: Coordinate positions of X-axis and Y-axis voltage measuring points P00, P01, etc. are set as follows. Position coordinate points Q1 and Q2, R1 and R2 enabling voltage measurement with given pressing force first are detected in two arbitrary points off the edge of one side 20a, 20b of X-axis/Y-axis outer sides of a touch panel. A straight line Q, R connecting the two position coordinate points Q1 and Q2, R1 and R2 is produced along the X-axis/Y-axis. The coordinate position of the intersection where the X-axis straight line Q and the Y-axis straight line R cross is defined as the origin O.
