PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a side impact load initially by a pelvis of an occupant.;SOLUTION: A car with a cabin comprises a floorpan 18 and a seat 24 mounted thereto. Seat displacement members 54, 56 arranged in a side closure structure body 42 applies load on an outward end of the seat 24 so as to deform a seat frame and a floorpan 18. This moves the seat 24 which is affected laterally inward with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the vehicle when the impact load acts on the side closure structure body 42 in the lateral direction. As a result, the pelvis region of the occupant 12 is to be the first region of the passenger where the load is dynamically applied by the side closure structure body 42.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
