PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying landed cuttlefishes in a state as fresh as possible, preserving in a living state and providing them on the table of guests, since present needs for fresh cuttlefish dishes are very large in living fish restaurants, food service industry and general households.;SOLUTION: The method comprises previously cutting out the ink sac of the live cuttlefish to discharge the squid ink, and conveying the cuttlefishes in a water tank of a boat or vehicle, or preserving them in the living state in the water tank of the restaurants. Thereby, since the cuttlefishes do not spurt the ink and the ink does not attach to the cuttlefish gills for respiration in water and so does not prohibit the respiration activity of the cuttlefishes, the cuttlefishes in the water tank can live for a long term in a fresh state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
